Study tips: Study for your Spanish final by printing out the IB Study Guide, highlighting words you don't know, making flash cards of those words, writing the words multiple times in English and Spanish, saying them over and over again, writing silly, memorable sentences with the words, doing the gestures with the words, having someone else quiz you on the words, watching voicethreads, singing the songs, and/or going to tutoring sessions at lunch or after school.

Over break homework (Due upon return):

1. Have parent sign that you watched this week's voicethreads (Monday-Wednesday, 12/15-17) and the 6 bonus break ones (9 total). For complete list of voicethreads, see Winter Break Page. Some early extra credit for next semester available on these voicethreads.

2. Read magazine for at least one hour, have parent sign that you did, complete activities, and write English above every word with an asterick * (see vocab boxes at bottom of page). Also, look up any other words you don't know (freedictionary.com) and write them in English on the magazine.

3. Watch a minimum of 1 hour of Spanish tv/movie. Have parent sign. It might be better to do two separate thirty minute sessions if your attention tends to wander.

4. If you did not have time to write a reflection on Spanish class, here are the questions and you can email me that (tschonewill@gmail.com) or give it to me after break.

Homework over break: Please watch a half hour of Spanish tv/movies in Spanish with English subtitles twice (two different times) over break so you don't forget everything you've learned! Have parent sign that you did! Due upon return.
